Healthcare, consumer electronics, automotive, industrial, payments and numerous other verticals are developing smart, connected devices that rely on an IoT infrastructure. Security needs to be built-in at the device level to deliver safe and reliable IoT services. There is already evidence of weak security implementations in numerous IoT implementations that have led to IoT systems being hacked.
This panel will identify key security risks for IoT implementations and discuss approaches and technologies that are being used to mitigate those risks. Payments, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics use cases will be presented, describing the security approaches and standards that these vertical markets are adopting.
